Our featured project is a fully custom 1950 Chevrolet Pickup. We built it as a donation to the National Rifle Association. We hand-built the box & running boards, stretched the cab 3", made a custom frame, and an all-steel one-piece power tilt front-end. We shaved all the trim, emblems, and drip rails. It features an LS1 crate motor, Tremec 6 speed trans, 9" rear end, custom interior, and of course plenty of NRA-themed unique touches.
This truck was sold at the 2010 Annual Convention Auction in Charlotte, NC, with the proceeds benefiting the NRA Foundation. It was purchased by NASCAR team owner Richard Childress and is on display in his museum in Welcome, NC.
